Dear war veterans and coal industry labor veterans!
I sincerely congratulate you on May 9 – the Day of Remembrance and Honor, as well as the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II!
We always bow our heads in memory of our ancestors who fought tirelessly for our free and liberated life, and our fellow citizens who contributed immensely to victory through their hard work behind the front lines.
We pay great respect and honor to our veteran miners who displayed courage and bravery in the ruthless war and contributed significantly to establishing and developing Uzbekistan's coal industry during the post-war reconstruction years.
As we express our gratitude for the prosperous days we enjoy today and speak of the heroes who fought for the freedom of our homeland and the well-being of our people, the sacred image of Mother appears before our eyes. This is because it is mothers who raise brave and courageous sons who consider the protection of their people as a matter of honor and dignity.
Many mothers who have given birth to and raised sons who have made significant contributions to the development of the coal industry are also worthy of our recognition.
The courage and honorable traditions of our veterans will undoubtedly serve as a source of inspiration for us in achieving the great goals set before us. Especially, you have been wise advisors, steadfast pillars, and have supported us with your prayers in all our endeavors. We highly appreciate this and take immense pride in you!
Taking this opportunity, I wish you all health, happiness, and prosperity in your homes.
May our homeland always be peaceful, and our people prosper even more!
