From June 2 to 4, 2026, the 8th Assembly of the Global Environmental Facility and the international exhibition “Eco Expo Central Asia – 2026” were held in the city of Samarkand. Specialists from the Ecology Department of  “O‘zbekcoal” JSC also actively participated in this prestigious international event.

During the exhibition, advanced technologies and innovative solutions were explored in the areas of air protection, industrial waste management, wastewater treatment, automated monitoring systems, dust and gas cleaning equipment, as well as the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles.

Particular attention was paid to modern automatic air quality monitoring stations, industrial dust and gas cleaning systems, biological wastewater treatment technologies, and environmental certification systems. The specialists held a number of meetings and negotiations regarding the implementation of these technologies at “O‘zbekcoal” JSC enterprises.

One of the key outcomes of the exhibition was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between “O‘zbekcoal” JSC, “Auris Green Tech” LLC, and the Tashkent Regional Department of the National Committee for Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Within the framework of this memorandum, the installation of automatic stationary sanitary control posts and air monitoring stations is planned, with integration into the monitoring center of the Ministry of Ecology.

In addition, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between “O‘zbekcoal” JSC and the State Center for Environmental Expertise. This document aims to improve the development of environmental regulatory documents, ensure timely state environmental expertise, and strengthen compliance with environmental legislation.
