On September 15 of this year, Nodirbek Dusmatov, Director General of "Uzbekkomir" JSC, visited Tashkent State Technical University.
During the visit, discussions were held with the university leadership regarding the further development of cooperation between "Uzbekkomir" JSC and the higher education institution.
Particular attention was paid to training highly qualified specialists with modern knowledge and practical skills for the coal industry, introducing a dual education model into the academic process, and involving students in the enterprise's production operations.
The meeting also addressed opportunities for training personnel in mine surveying, mining engineering, and other specialties essential to the coal industry, as well as organizing practical training and internships for students.
Furthermore, the parties discussed prospects for collaboration on scientific research and innovative projects. Specifically, views were exchanged on strengthening cooperation to enhance coal extraction efficiency, implement modern technologies in production, and develop scientific and practical solutions for the sector.
At the conclusion of the meeting, priority tasks were defined for advancing cooperation in the areas of personnel training, dual education, industrial internships, and scientific research.
