Dear colleagues,

I sincerely congratulate you all on the glorious occasion of the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Today, our country is widely celebrating the most important and cherished national holiday ‒ Independence Day. This significant occasion embodies the honorable path our country has traveled, the great achievements attained over the years of independence, and the bright future of our Motherland.

Over the years of independence, our country has made remarkable progress in all areas. Today, the coal industry also plays an important role in ensuring the sustainable development of our national economy and strengthening its energy potential.

Working in the coal industry is both an honor and a great responsibility. Our miners, working selflessly under challenging conditions, make a worthy contribution to the development of our country through their honest and dedicated labor.

It is a great source of pride and joy for all of us that representatives of the JSC “Uzbekcoal” team have been awarded high state honors on this special occasion.

In accordance with the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Azamat Namazov, crane operator at the “Transport” branch of JSC “O‘zbekko‘mir”, was awarded the “Mehnat Shuhrati” (Labor Glory) Order, while Baxodir Imanov, bulldozer operator at the same branch, was awarded the “Shuhrat” (Glory) Medal.

In addition, a number of employees of Uzbekcoal have been honored with the commemorative badge “35 Years of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

These high honors represent a well-deserved recognition of the hard and dedicated work of coal industry employees and their significant contribution to the national economy, energy security, and the development of the industry.

At the same time, the steadily growing demand for energy resources is placing new and important responsibilities on the coal industry.

The increasing demand for coal requires us to further expand the production capacity of the sector, use resources efficiently, and ensure a stable supply of high-quality products to consumers.

The gradual introduction of market mechanisms in the coal industry, alongside strengthening competition, transparency, and efficiency, also requires the team of JSC “Uzbekcoal” to pay even greater attention to product quality, production efficiency, labor productivity, and the interests of consumers.

We view this process as a period of new opportunities. Our key objectives are to widely introduce modern equipment and technologies, use production capacities efficiently, increase coal production volumes, and, most importantly, earn and maintain the trust of consumers through high-quality products and reliable supplies.

I am confident that the united, experienced, and dedicated team of JSC “Uzbekcoal” will successfully fulfill all the tasks set before us and further strengthen the role of the coal industry in the economic development of our country.

Taking this opportunity, I wish all miners, workers and employees, labor veterans, and our respected elders good health, family peace and happiness, prosperity, and well-being.

May the Independence Day celebrations bring joy, peace, and prosperity to every home!
